Terry Borcheller - The Road Racers Podcast had the pleasure of catching up with Terry Borcheller on one of his rare “off weekends” at the Miller Motorsports Park during the American Le Mans event prior to his upcoming run at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.”.

Terry was having a “busman’s holiday” as he was there coaching a competitor in the Porsche GT3 Cup Series.

Derek Ross interviews Terry as he discusses the path that led him to become a professional and “in demand” Road Racer. It is an interesting story and Terry gives some advice for others who wish to follow in his shoes.

The Road Racers Podcast recently had the opportunity to sit down with Cindi Lux.We caught up with Cindi prior to strapping herself into the driver’s seat of her Mopar/Dodge Viper Competition Coupe RaceCar during the Miller Motorsports Park round of the SCCA Pro Racing Speed World Challenge GT Series.

Cindi Lux took time away from her pre-race preparation to provide a snapshot of where she is at currently in the competitive world of Motorsports Competition.

Cindi also reflected on her personal path to becoming a top professional Road Racing Driver in Motorsports today. She also gave us her thoughts on the current media coverage and interest in women race car drivers.

We spent some time with Vic Rice in the Daytona paddock as he awaited his first laps as co-driver in the Stevenson Motorsports Corvette entry in the GT Category for this year’s race.

Vic Rice is an accomplished road racer in many kinds of racecars.

I first met Vic while he competed in and won the 1996 GT American – GTA championship and finished 2^nd in the 1997 Championship.

The GT American Series is a road racing stock car series.

Mark took time from his busy shooting schedule to chat with us to reveal just who this man is behind the lens and the Albert Einstein like persona that Mark possesses.

David Cooper held a question and answer session prior to the start of the 2007 Daytona 24 Hours Race.

He not only brought himself but he brought one of their actual Crawford Race Cars - Pontiac Powered Daytona Prototype RaceCars that would start the famous race in only a matter of hours.

The racecar used for the question and answer session was the car that would driven in the Daytona 24 Hours race by none other than NASCAR Champion Tony Stewart and Road Racing veterans Andy Wallace and Butch Leitzinger

David Cooper began his career in Motorports back in the early 1980’s working initially with McLaren in Formula 1.

At just 16 years of age – this very personable young man makes history as the youngest competitor “ever” to start and finish the famous twice around the clock - Daytona 24 Hours Race

Auston Harris and his co-drivers are the Winners of the SunTrust Improve Your Position Award for the GT Class at the 2007 Daytona 24 Hour Event

They did this by advancing 21 places in the final results in their The Racers Group - TRG #67 Porsche GT3 Cup entry

The first race of the 2007 Koni Challenge Series series sports a new pairing of drivers - Toby Grahovec and Pierre Kleinubing.

The first race of the year for them as a duo was the Friday opening round during the Daytona 24 Hours Event weekend.

This race started a historic 100 plus racecars. One of the largest starting fields of any road course race in North American racing history.

Road Racers Podcast caught up with them in the trailer just prior to qualifying.

You may have become more accustomed to seeing Johnny O’Connell behind the wheel of the No. 3 Compuware Corvette C6.R in the American Le mans Series - ALMS events.

Don’t worry he will be there for 2007 starting with the Sebring 12 Hour event – but for the the Daytona 24 hours race he joined the Leighton Reese Performance Group entry with their debut of the new factory backed Pontiac GXP.R
