99 Auto Racing Twitter Accounts to Follow Part 1
99 Motorsports Twitter Accounts to Follow
Twitter is a fast growing micro-blogging service that has seen more and more people from the Motorsport Community get involved with.
Using 140 Character – “Tweets” short messages are easily sent.
We are excited to bring you our first show for RaceDrive TV – We hope to assist in your Online World of Motorsport with more shows like this – and much much more.
Today we are going to introduce you to Twitter – and why you may want to join “us” on Twitter.
We at RaceDrive TV have gathered a list of 99 Twitter Accounts that revolve around Auto Racing – for you to look at.
Now – yes there are many more accounts getting added daily – so this is not something that is cast in stone.
We made this list just as we were passing through 500 followers on Twitter.
If you follow someone – you automatically get to read what they have posted – in your Twitter Account.
Same if they follow you – they get to see what you have posted.
This is Part 1 of 2. Who should be added to the list to make it 100 ?
Send us your comments – suggest someone – or yourself !!
Hope you enjoy the show – Catch us on Twitter: RaceDrive
We’ll be looking for you.

Hey guys,
Thanks for including us 99 :). We do most of our live blogging and Twittering during races. Just finished the Battle at Primm and gearing up for the Mint 400. Biggest race of the year is always the Baja 1000, which is a bit of a challenge for blogging and Twitter because we spend most of our time in the deserts. Gotta love sat phones and satellite uplinks.

This is awesome! Thank you so much for including Las Vegas Motor Speedway on your list. It looks like I have a lot of work to do to keep us up with so many great Twitter pages!
Thanks for including OnPitRow in the list guys. It is a great resource for race fans new to Twitter. You have a terrific site here, too.
Can also add to that list The Furious Wedge: “Sports news, rumors and analysis… Guaranteed to raise your IQ or your money back! ” Does delve into other ball/stick sports but the majority is in motorsports (IRL, A1GP, NASCAR, F1 etc) news and analysis.
Also home of the 24 hour straight blogathon/twitterathon; 24 hours straight analysis etc. of the ’24 hours of Daytona’ and all other sporting events in that time.

Hey, thanks for the honor of being in your “99.” Hope we can bring some insight and fun to race fans at @RedRacer and @FordRacing.
Thanks for the shout out Jim – I’m going to be following a bunch more people now as a result of this!
Hey, thanks! I just love having a place to talk obscure racing. Any other road racers out there, join in on the fun!
Thanks for including us! Really appreciate it!
Wow – thanks for including us in your list. While we have just started this micro blog for employees, it is growing quickly. The beauty of Twitter is that yoy can get all of your updates and share them in one place. You have given me more clues on who to follow.
Thanks so much for the mention!! You guys are awesome 🙂
Thanks for including us. It’s shaping up to be an exciting year in autocross with the tire wars that are just beginning. If you are in the SoCal area, don’t miss the San Diego National Tour on March 21-22 and the El Toro ProSolo on March 28-29.
Now if I can just find more coverage of the British Touring car and DTM, that would be great.
Many, many thanks from me, as well, for including TheSpeedgeek. That’s a very cool thing you guys did, and I’m looking forward to folling you and everybody else this season.
Thank you for listing me in your Auto Racing Twitter Account to Follow! Check back for more updates the racing season continues. @FordRacing and @FCSD_TASCA_PR
Wow, very cool! Thanks for mentioning us in your Twitter info, too!
We tweet throughout the week in response to others with their motorsports news and to let people know where we are and what promotions we are doing… but we use it mostly for our Sunday night radio show where we post all of our topics via Twitter, Facebook & MySpace and hope to be able to read some really interesting responses live on the air! 😉 Our show is live from 10p-Midnight ET / 7p-9p PT
Thanks again for the mention… and be sure to Tweet us on Sunday nights!

Thanks for listing TeamFordRacing on your list of accounts to follow. Racing doesn’t happen only on the weekend and we try to bring fans interesting reads and tweets throughout the week. Let’s chat!
HUGE thanks for the mention in the 99! (Or 98, or whatever it ended up being.)
I’d also like to put a mention for Furious Wedge, who blogged the entire 24 Hours at Daytona. He should be 24 spots all by himself for that.
Thank you for compiling this fantastic list!
Please let your followers know that the NASCAR Hall of Fame is also on Twitter @nascarhall.
